Feeling better now.
I just watched Storytelling on the recommendation of Professor of Freshman "I AM the Humanities" Seminar. He blurted out his recommendation of it when I mentioned my project idea (a dialog [think Plato]-play script hybrid) and the fact that it would look at what is true versus what is real in fiction. So he blurted out the recommendation and then blushed bright red and told me about how when the film first came out it was censored in certain scenes with a big red rectangle over part of the screen. "Both versions were equally disturbing," he said, and giggled. It was adorable.
Anyway, I watched the film, and I liked it A LOT more than I thought I would, based on the premise. I thought it would strike me as Adaptation struck me: a good idea in theory but not my cup of tea. (Dad liked Adaptation, though, in maybe the only instance when he has liked a weird movie more than I did. Strange.)
So I've added a new quote from the movie. It's quite good.

Later tonight I'm headed to get ice cream and see Leatherheads (for free, or I wouldn't bother) with HSClassmate. It's cooled down quite a bit since yesterday, but the ice cream will still be nice. We're getting it from her favorite of the two competing ice cream stores in town. Not much seating, but innovative flavors.

I really like the prefrosh. And we've adopted another one, whose host was partying last night with thirty people in the room. So she grabbed her suitcase and came over here. It's been a tight fit, but they're both so nice and they're very independent, so it's not like we're babysitting them. One of them at least is definitely coming next year, so we'll have at least one friend in the class of 2012. It'll be strange not being the little ones on campus next year.
