The Aged Ps and I just got back from watching France vs. Uruguay at the Damn Big Midwestern University Union. It was a sluggish but still really tense and entertaining game, I thought, even with its 0-0 finish. Not enough Thierry Henry, though, especially since I wore my jersey.
Tomorrow we're headed back to watch England vs. USA, which will probably be quite lively. I'm not a huge Team USA fan and I don't like Rooney much, so whoever wins I'll probably be thrilled.
The teams I'm predisposed to like: France (obviously), Cameroon, Netherlands, Brazil.
