OH MY GOD IT'S ON YOUTUBE.
What's on YouTube you may ask?
Only the best crazy old man dance ever.
In other news: I'm getting ahead in homework for next week pending my Rome midterm on Tuesday and Writing Seminar shenanigans throughout pending leaving for spring break (!) a week from tonight.
The weekend, all of this studying and writing notwithstanding, is shaping up well. Tomorrow Downstairs Chatterer and I are going through some sort of tour guide hazing procedure (or not; they just told us to meet at 10:15 pm, to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and to brush up on our tour guide info. I'm terrified) and on Saturday Roommate J and I are seeing CC perform in a dance show. And then on Sunday Roommate J and I and maybe some others are going to navigate the nearly-invisible bus system to the mall to try and see The Other Boleyn Girl. Period costumes! Eric Bana! Natalie Portman! (oh and, yeah, Scarlet Johansen.)
Also, highlight of the day:
Rome Professor: Now as soon as [nameless grad student] gets the overhead working again, you will see one of the more erotic images from this period.
(projector comes on, but instead of going back to the computer, switches over to TV where Bob the Builder is talking to a Steam Shovel.)
Entire Class: HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The "Steam Shovel" has a name. He is called "Scoop" and he is a backhoe. Sorry, I watched too much TV with David & Becky>
Dizzy — is an orange concrete mixer and one of the youngest in the yard. She is eager, curious, and easily excitable (female voice; catchphrase: "Brilliant!").
Lofty — is a blue crane who isn't very confident; he is hesitant and timid, but with the encouragement of the team comes through in the end (male voice; catchphrase: "Uh... yeah, I think so!", usually said in response to the question "Can we fix it?").
Muck — is a red bulldozer with additional dumping bed who thinks before he acts and often gets in trouble for it, but finds his way back (male voice; female voice in US dub; catchphrase: "Muck to the rescue!").
Roley — is a green steamroller, rounds out the "Can-Do Crew" (male voice; catchphrase: "Rock and roll!").
Scoop — is a yellow backhoe loader and the unofficial leader of all the machines (male voice; catchphrase: "No prob, Bob!").
