Tonight was our first preview, and the first time we've made all of the quick changes without trouble. The audience was really great as well. They had an infectious laugh that had us laughing backstage less in response to what the actors were doing (although we still laugh at that) than at the sheer volume and stamina of it. Actor P and Actor B were in fine form and although Actor P sweats buckets, we managed to get through the evening without too many of his clothes adhering irrevocably to him.
Tomorrow I was supposed to come to rehearsal at 12:30 with the other dressers, but I got a call from Intern A (the head dresser / our costume-mistress) saying to come in at 12:00 to learn how to check light levels. I was privately a little irritated at this turn of events until Flatmate M showed up and mentioned that I was picked for this duty because it emerged at notes that I was "the most competent of the dressers." Needless to say, my head swelled a bit and I set my alarm with more glee than before.
Now to sleep.
