It was supposed to rain. Even last night when I checked the weather before going to bed at one, there was a 50% chance of rain and it was going to be 60 degrees. I wake up and it's 75 degrees and sunny. This being Princeton, I'm convinced someone paid someone else off.
The point of lawnparties, I'm convinced, is primarily to see and be seen. Actually listening to the bands is secondary. Fountains of Wayne treated us well and played "Stacy's Mom" almost as soon as we arrived, we had a good time dancing to a Rolling Stones cover band down the street, and then came the fun part, where we walked around for an hour taking advantage of photo ops.
This entire campus is one huge photo op.
Later we met up with StoppardFan and Athena to watch Howie Day lip-sync before retreating to the fountain and taking more photos. 'Twas all very glamorous.
And now it is reading period.
