The audition was so fast. Walked in. Found monologues on the floor. Picked two. Read them. Read them aloud. Walked out. End of story.
We'll see. There are so few female roles and I'm only a freshman, but it was a good experience to have had.
In other drama news, tonight I saw The Violet Hour. It was written by a Princeton alumnus and was pretty much awesome, with veiled references to F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, and Josephine Baker. It was comedic and dramatic (MY FAVORITE) and had great timing. Some parts were slow, and the guy who I shanghaied to come with me at the last moment wasn't much of a theater person, but it was a good play and I'll be in bed earlier than usual tonight. Yay!
Hunting for the chocolate croissant this morning was a mixed experience. On the one hand, it was raining so my biking to a slightly farther away bakery was foiled. On the other hand, I got to check out another bakery, where they serve pain au chocolat, and walked home with it in the rain. It was a romantic college moment.

I am jealous of your pastry experiences.

Ah! I see that the exigencies of keeping up with social activities and homework has finally slowed down the postings, which kept all us old folks so enthralled. That is fine, our dear nom de plume; your gal in Kalamazoo would rather feel assured that homework is being done (to use the passive in a way reminiscent of the Washington politicians' "Mistakes were made.") than to be daily entertained. We're thinking about you and expecting the best.
