Day 23 – A song that you want to play at your wedding
Oh my lord. I was never one of those girls who planned her wedding down to the last detail when she was, like, twelve. I just sort of floated the idea of having it at the Chapel in the [now sadly absent] Pines in Colorado and made jokes about which relatives would show up for it.
I find it increasingly difficult to envision my own wedding*, but I may or may not have spent some time, off and on, thinking about which of my friends will be in the wedding party: Roommate J, obviously, and Subcontinent and HarvardGirl.
I am also prepared for a lot of crying (one more so than the other, but only because leakiness runs in the family) and public displays of affection on the part of my Aged Ps. What I am not prepared for is song choice. So you'll forgive me if I blatantly bend the rules today and offer up several contenders.
It Was A Very Good Year
I Only Want To Be With You
Wild Is The Wind
You Really Got Me
So In Love
*Partly due to lack of eligible bachelors, although, to quote the ever spot-on Roommate J, "Who cares about the GROOM?!? This is AMERICA!"
