Today the weather is lovely. I got a haircut. I got my first choice spring junior paper adviser.
Tomorrow the weather will be lovely. I'll be in NYC with my dad where I'll get to eat dinner with lots of nice business students and then FINALLY see A Single Man. Seeing Colin Firth's lovely grin for about five seconds during the Golden Globes made me even more excited than I was before (if possible).
On Saturday, the weather will be lovely and Dad and I will eat breakfast/lunch at Amy's Bread, after which I will take the train down to Newark and meet Roommate J and we will fly to San Francisco for our intersession adventure!(!!!!!)
Optimism is easy to come by on days like this, and I am feeling very optimistic. This is perhaps doubled by the fact that both Roommate J and I are going carry-on only. There's nothing like getting to the airport ridiculously early only to sail through and spend a lot of time in the awesome C Terminal to lift the spirits. That will be us on Saturday.
So: my bags are packed, I'm ready to go, I'm standin' here outside yo do'.
