Back in Midwest University Town, after two weeks of nonstop fun (well, maybe stop, now and again, for things like waiting in line or almost falling down in a faint at a military parade) with Subcontinent, Mom, Dad, and the GrandPs, which was followed by a rather dreadful day of travelling capped off by Smiling Irish Airline leaving our bags in Dublin.
Thus my plan for today: sit at home and watch Season 3 of Six Feet Under and fiddle with my new computer (A MAC! I have willingly joined the forces of darkness, and it feels GREAT) and wait for the FedEx guy to show up with our luggage and all that that implies: smelly clothes, new souvenirs I was reluctant to lose, toiletries I kind of need right now, Baby Bunny, yes, i still travel with a stuffed rabbit. what's it to you? in the future, when they write my biography, this will be one of my lovable eccentric foibles. and other not as important things.
At least I carried on all those posters we stole.
Yesterday I heard from Princeton about roommates, and I have four! I can only imagine we have some sort of suite, and since I arrive extra early to do Community Action preorientation I should be able to take the good bed, or good room as it may turn out.

My advice is to pick the bed by the window.
Have you read HP???
I HAVE read HP. I loved it, which strangely not everyone agreed with. I even loved the sappy epilogue, because I'm a shameless romantic. The only thing that really and truely irritated me was Lupin AND Tonks dying. What was that?
